BattleBit Remastered is a newly released shooter that delivers high-octane multiplayer battles, providing an opportunity for large-scale conflicts with up to 254 players. Following a considerable period of development, the game has now entered the early access phase, generating great enthusiasm among its dedicated community of fans. While the game was not released on the consoles, many PC players wonder if it is possible to play the it on the controller. You can do that, but it is not straightforward.
BattleBit – controller support
At the moment the game supports controller only partially. It means that you can play it, but it is not an ideal experience. First of all, there is no aim assist. It means that you will be in disadvantage. What is more, you have to prepare your own layout to emulate mouse and keyboard. Luckily, developers are there to help you.
How to play BattleBit on the controller
Developers addressed the problem on their official Twitter account and prepared an instruction, which will let you play the game on the controller:
- Select BattleBit in your Steam Library and right click it.
- Pick Properties.
- Enable Steam Input in the Controller section.

- Apply Layout.
