Once Human is a postapocalyptic free-to-play survival game. You will do many quest, upgrade your equipment and gather resources during the adventure. It is not all though, you can also collect creatures called Deviants. One of them, Pup Buddy, is practically impossible to find right now.

How to Get Pup Buddy in Once Human

In Once Human you can collect creatures called Deviants. When you get one of them, it is possible to use it to help players in various tasks – crafting, farming and combat.

You can unlock Deviants by completing some quests, killing enemies or visiting specific locations. So, it requires a lot of luck. Pup Buddy is especially difficult to find. When you search on the Internet, you will find old videos (like this created by Glitchiz) which includes instructions how to find it. In theory, it’s quite simple – you must go to the Evergreen and fight with floating zombies. There is a chance that defeated enemy will drop this Deviant.

However, these videos were based on older versions of Once Human. When you search Reddit or game’s official Discord server, you will find out that currently players are not able to get Pup Buddy (at least majority of them). So, there are three scenarios of what have happened to creature after the game's release.

  1. Pup Buddy was removed from the release build and is not yet in the game.
  2. There is a bug, causing the Deviant not to spawn. Alternatively, the chance of the drop is extremely low.
  3. Method to obtain this creature changed.

For now, it is unclear which of the above is true. The fact is that Pup Buddy is extremally elusive and it is impossible to confirm any sure method of obtaining it.
