A few days ago, a new gameplay from the space RTS Homeworld 3 was released online. The four-minute material shows details of the space battles that await fans of the upcoming follow-up to the iconic series.

Fans of the space opera series Homeworld have something to look forward to - the next full-fledged installment of the series, Homeworld 3, is in the pipeline, and recently another footage heralding what is to be found in the game hit the web.

The four-minute gameplay shows space battles up close and you have to admit that strategy game fans should be pleased with what the trailer shows.

The material is, in a way, an expansion of the shorter gameplay, which was published in late August.

You can watch the new video below:

Maneuvers in Space

The featured gameplay shows the management of a squadron of fighters that have to cope with an enemy ambush.

The gameplay shows, among other things. the mechanics of hiding in tunnels or using the environment to gain tactical advantage.

Different types of combat units, such as bombers and frigates, were also shown. Each ship is distinguished by its different effectiveness in clashes against specific types of vehicles; for example, bombers are pitted against the capital ships)

Homeworld 3 will be the series' return to clashes in space twenty years after the release of part two. In 2016, fans got a spin-off subtitled Deserts of Kharak, which differed from the previous installments in its emphasis on clashes on land.

Homeworld 3 is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2023, exclusively on PC.
