Homeworld 3 Gameplay Brings Something to Look Forward to for Strategy Game Fans
An impressive new trailer for Homeworld 3, consisting solely of gameplay, was shown at gamescom 2022 Opening Night.
One of the highlights of the gamescom 2022 Opening Night show for strategy game fans turned out to be the release of a new trailer for Homeworld 3, a space RTS from Blackbird Interactive and another installment of one of the most famous series of its kind.
The trailer shows a shortcut of a single battle and consists exclusively of gameplay fragments. It shows, among other things, the battle interface, the use of shields and carrying out bombing raids on large enemy units and taking over their ships.
On the trailer the game looks excellent and seems to be exactly what fans of the series have been waiting for since the the second part of the series, released 19 years ago (in the meantime there was also Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, but it focused exclusively on planetside battles).
Recall that Homeworld 3 is coming exclusively to PC. The release is expected in the first half of next year. In addition to the standard edition, a collector's edition is being prepared, which will offer, among other things, a season pass and a 14-inch spaceship figurine.
