Heroes of Might and Magic 7.5 With New Map and Better Dungeons
Version 1.2.9 of the vast mod Heroes of Might and Magic 7.5 has been released. The update introduced, among other things, a new map.
In recent years, Ubisoft has completely abandoned the Heroes of Might and Magic franchise. However, the series has not been forgotten by the fans, who, with the help of mods, continue to develop the most popular installments. The latest fruit of this has become a new version of the extensive mod called Heroes of Might and Magic 7.5, for Might & Magic: Heroes VII.
The update bears the number 1.2.9 and brings many new features. First of all, a new siege map has been added for the Inferno faction, as well as completed underground maps (previously available in a heavily simplified and rough form). A number of Inferno-related visual elements have also been improved, gameplay balance has been improved, text descriptions have been expanded and several bugs have been fixed. In addition, an add-on introducing the Xel and Sanctuary factions has been integrated into the main installer.

Recall that Heroes of Might and Magic 7.5 plays an intermediate role between an update and a DLC. The project improves the game by fixing bugs and improving gameplay and graphics, while offering a lot of new content, including additional creatures, abilities and maps.
Might & Magic: Heroes VII was released in September 2015, exclusively on PC. In turn, 2016 saw the release of the first and only expansion, Trial by Fire (which Heroes of Might and Magic 7.5 requires, by the way).
After the release of this DLC, Ubisoft seems to have completely abandoned the franchise - no new project in the series has been released for the past seven years. Recently rumors have emerged that during E3 the publisher intends to reveal a game belonging to a "neglected" series, focusing on single player gameplay. Who knows, maybe the company will finally offer something new from the world of Might & Magic.
An alternative suggestion is the Unoffical Community Mod (UCP).
It is worth mentioning at the end that this is not the only project of this type. An alternative modification is Unoffical Community Mod (UCP). This is a suggestion for people who are not interested in new content and only want fixes for technical bugs and other imperfections.
