Hades 2 With Another Patch. Supergiant Games Prepares First Major Update
Patch 3 for Hades 2 introduces quite a few changes, but now the developers will focus on the game's first major update as part of the Steam Early Access.
Devs of Hades 2 are preparing the first big update for the game. Supergiant Games studio wants to release this big patch this year, although they haven't yet announced a release date.
This update will be the focus of the studio's efforts, which has released the third minor patch to Hades 2. The team will continue to take into account the opinions of fans, but it seems that in the near future there is no hope for larger updates.
Fortunately, Patch 3 itself introduces a large number of changes. In addition to fixing bugs (including those related to Daedalus Hammer, Moonstone Axe, and many other items), improving the interface, and optimization (including saved game state files), the patch made some slight modifications to the gameplay.
- In the Well of Charon, we will find a new improvement (which somewhat replaced another one, removed after the game's debut in early access);
- We will also find two more improvements on the Path of Star...
- ...and the next 6 fresh ones we will get in the Hekate Cauldron at the Crossroads.
- Moreover, many other skills have been rebalanced or even completely rebuilt.
- Moreover, a handful of new boons appeared.
As with previous patches, some of the changes introduced in this update were inspired by the community (and interestingly, the developers highlighted them in an announcement posted on Steam). Fans' suggestions have led to, among other things, the chance to receive Nightmare as part of Charon's gold rewards and an increase in the frequency of obtaining certain legendary boons.
