Prometheus in Hades 2, a New Boss from Olympic Update
Hades 2 just got a huge Olympic update! With new weapons, allies, and animal familiars, there's also a challenging new boss to face. Prometheus' special move can be a real pain.
Following the massive success of Hades, we had to wait nearly six years for its sequel. Although still in Early Access, Hades 2 has just received a major update. In addition to new gods to encounter and an entirely new region (with Adamant waiting to be found), players will face fresh adversaries. Prometheus, who has mysteriously been freed from his eternal punishment, now appears as a new boss to defeat.
Prometheus Boss Fight in Hades 2
If you struggled to beat Eris, Infernal Beast, or Chronos in Hades 2, get ready – Prometheus might give you a tough time too. He is fast, his attacks have a wide range plus he has a special move that might just make you want to cry.
When Prometheus flies over the battlefield, things are about to get tough. He unleashes pillars of flame that are incredibly hard to dodge. While there are brief visual cues on the ground showing where his special attack will land, the warning is so short that escaping in time can be really tricky. Even worse, you'll need to not only react quickly but also remember the pattern to escape safely. Avoiding those flames is crucial, but don't get discouraged. With a bit of practice, you'll get the hang of it.

If Prometheus' voice sounds familiar, that's because it is! He’s voiced by none other than Ben Starr, known for his role as Clive Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI or Artur in Warframe: 1999. Starr is also set to voice the protagonist in the upcoming game The First Berserker: Khazan.
