Last year, Pacific Drive was released, which last month reached sales of over a million copies. The team at Ironwood Studios is constantly developing the game, the result of which is, for instance, the "winter" update. Now the developers have announced another update with new content, the trailer of which you can watch below.

Pacific Drive - upcoming new features

The upcoming update is titled Endless Expedition, and its release date is set for April 3rd. As the developers admit, this will be the biggest patch released so far.

It will introduce to the game endless, dangerous, and uniquely rewarding journeys known as expeditions, which will "challenge even the veteran" player.

Besides, a new "Suspend Run" feature will be added, which the community has been asking the developers for since the game's launch. It will allow for interrupting the journey, saving it, and returning to it at any time without losing progress.

Moreover, the trailer also presented a few other elements that will be added to the game in April. These are:

  1. an undocumented feature by the developers called "cluster spawning;"
  2. improvements of two tools - thermal vacuum and plasma scrapper;
  3. new detectable dealer - Ida's Exchange;
  4. over an hour of additional music tracks on the radio;
  5. new cosmetic rewards for the garage;
  6. new faxes revealing more secrets to the players.

Pacific Drive is available on PC and PlayStation 5.
