How to Deal with Abductor in Pacific Drive
Are you struggling with Abductor in Pacific Drive? From this guide you will learn how to deal with this anomaly.
Pacific Drive is a roguelite game with survival elements. The action of this title is placed on northwest coast of the USA, in filled with dangerous anomalies area called the Olympic Exclusion Zone. One of the most common threats that you will encounter in this deadly environment is Abductor. From this guide you will learn how to deal with this anomaly.
What Abductor in Pacific Drive is
Abductor is one of the anomalies, which you may encounter in the Zone. It will bother you from the very beginning of the game – you will find it as early as the initial junctions. It’s a large flying robot with a magnet. When you enter its range (the green area below the anomaly), it will attach itself to you and start pulling towards dangerous places. It can heavily damage your car in this way.
How to Deal with Abductor in Pacific Drive
You are not completely defenseless. There are several ways to deal with Abductor in the game. However, you must remember, that this anomaly is interested in the player too, especially if they carry something bright. It means that the anomaly can snatch the object from your hand, even if you are near the car. In doing so, you may lose something precious, for example an anchor.
- You can distract the anomaly with flares. Abductor will grab the object and fly away. Then you will be able to drive safely.
- Abductor can also attach itself to the bunny. If this happens, the robot will be deactivated because it will not be able to detach the object from the magnet.
- If the magnet attaches to the car, you can get rid of it by using Limpulse Emitter. It's a replacement for bumpers, which disrupts the work of the anomaly by emitting electromagnetic impulses.
