Google Chrome Will Continue to be Supported on Windows 7
Google has assured that Chrome web browser will continue to receive updates on Windows 7. The company wants to support the application for at least 18 months after Microsoft abandons the system.
Microsoft's official support for Windows 7 will end on January 14, 2020. From this date on, further use of the software will be dangerous as it will no longer receive so-called security updates, which will greatly facilitate the work of hackers. Corporations that have not yet migrated to Windows 10 will be at greatest risk, but individual users should not feel safe either.
For those who delay the decision or just don't want to leave Windows 7 yet, Google ensures that the Chrome web browser will still be supported on this system for at least 18 months (i.e. until July 15, 2021). This means that the application will receive constant updates, which will not only improve security, but also other useful features. However, it is worth reminding that owners of the legal version of Windows 7 can still become owners of W10 for free. You can do it at this address.
Windows 10 received many improvements in the previous year, although they were not without problems. However, the lack of support for the older Windows 7 may cause even more users to migrate to the latest system (in September 2019 it was used by more than half of PC owners).
