Siege Survival: Gloria Victis Gets a Free Desert DLC
Siege Survival: Gloria Victis received a handful of new features in today's update. Players got not only gameplay changes, but also a free scenario called Lost Caravan.
The creators of Siege Survival: Gloria Victis have released the promised update with additional content. It took the form of a brand new scenario, called Lost Caravan, in which a group of survivors must not only face numerous enemy forces, but also survive the scorching desert in an abandoned caravanserai. To take on this challenge, we must first reach day seven of Siege of Edring (which is the campaign available in the game's original release).
The heat from the sky is by no means a visual effect. Overheating is one of the new mechanics introduced in the update. The scorching desert sun will help insofar as it translates into reduced enemy activity during the day, but staying out too long will also harm friendly characters. In addition, from time to time we'll encounter sandstorms, limiting visibility and adversely affecting our units. Morning events also appeared in the game, although only as part of the scenarios added after the debut of Siege Survival: Gloria Victis. There was no shortage of new characters either.
Apart from the already introduced novelties, Polish teams FishTankStudio and Black Eye Games have announced the second community update. The patch is due in two weeks and will include, among other things, improvements to game balance and morning events in Siege of Edring, as well as New Game Plus mode and challenges for the "Lost Caravan" scenario.
