Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Sale and With Time-Limited Demo
Capcom has released an update and a trial version of Dragon's Dogma 2, although the demo will only provide playtime for 2 hours and will not be available for long.
Dragon's Dogma 2 got a playable demo – but lasting only 2 hours. This is how long you can play the trial version of this RPG - Capcom has released it on Steam as well as on Sony and Microsoft stores (via X).
This is still a significantly longer gameplay time than in the case of previous trials of the Japanese publisher. However, there is one more limitation: the demo will only be available until July 18. Besides, 2 hours is not much time to get a taste of a huge RPG like the sequel to Dragon’s Dogma.
It is worth remembering to create your character using the free creator before you start playing the trial version. Otherwise, you may find that instead of traversing the world of DD 2, you will spend 2 hours just on character customization.
Additionally, Dragon's Dogma 2 is also on sale on all platforms. On consoles, the standard edition of the game was discounted by 30% (to USD 55,99 on PS5 and XSX/S), but on Steam, the price was reduced by 20% (also USD 55,99). The sale on PC will end on July 1st, while on Sony and Microsoft platforms, lower prices will be valid for a week longer (until July 18th).
Capcom also continues to patch the game. Dragon's Dogma 2 got a new update yesterday. It improves, e.g. game optimization and adds the option to remove you character in photo mode (via Steam).
