Diablo 2: Resurrected's New Patch Aims to Reduce Server Issues
Another patch has been released for Diablo 2: Resurrected to reduce server issues. Players will now wait in queues.
- Diablo 2: Resurrected has lived to see another patch;
- It introduces a login queue to the game;
- It will reduce problems with overloaded servers.
Blizzard Entertainment has been facing server performance issues with Diablo 2: Resurrected for quite some time now. Studio employees have admitted that it may still take some time to resolve them. However, on October 15 a small patch was released for the PC version of the game (and yesterday for other platforms as well), which is to reduce the phenomenon of collapsing servers.
The patch introduces a login queue to the game, which will be run during the greatest player activity periods. Subsequent fans wishing to play online will have to wait for free seats, so as not to overload the servers. Of course, no one will forbid them to leave the queue and go to offline mode.
The published patch is in fact only an attempt to reduce the scale of the problems. It does not remove any errors from the game, but only reduces the frequency of their occurrence. The patch is now available on all platforms supporting Diablo 2: Resurrected, except Switch.
