Diablo II: Resurrected has received update 2.6. According to the announcement from Blizzard, the patch can already be downloaded, but players will have to wait until Friday for the start of the third season. The ranking ladder will be made available on February 17.

The debut of update 2.6 brings with it eight new runic words, such as Cure, Bulwark and Hearth. This time, the developers focused on providing players with various immunities and damage reduction, with the performance of some of these bonuses slightly changed since the debut on test servers of Diablo 2: Resurrected. The same goes for older runic words, as the new update also brings changes to gameplay balance.

In addition, from now on, the Terror Zones added in version 2.5 are available while playing offline. "Schedule" of their appearance is supposed to be a bit different than in the case of online ranked play. Players report, that currently the "offline" Terror Zones will be found in the Rocky Hollow.

Of course, the patch also brought with it a host of fixes not necessarily related to gameplay. The full list of changes introduced in patch 2.6 can be found in Blizzard's post, which was published last week on the official Diablo website.
