CoD Cold War - Trailer and Release Date; Game Bets on Player's Choices

Treyarch will introduce in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War at least one significant change from the earlier installments. We're talking about RPG elements in the form of choices affecting the course and finale of the story and the need to create a character.

UPDATE:

The first full trailer of the game has appeared. The release date was also revealed - Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War will debut on November 13.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. In Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War Treyarch will introduce RPG elements in the form of choices affecting the course and ending of the plot and the creation of the character before the campaign;
  2. However, these solutions will not affect the length, intensity and diversity of the single player mode.

On the eve of Gamescom Opening Night Live, where Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War is to be revealed to the world, Treyarch's latest work has begun to come out of the shadows. At this address you will find our preview of the game, but in this news we would like to draw your attention to the biggest change introduced in the title in relation to the earlier installment, i.e. choices pulled straight from RPGs (previously we could only see them in Call of Duty: Black Ops II).

As Martin writes, in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War we will have to make various decisions. As it usually happens, our actions will impact the course of the story told in the game and, consequently, its ending. Interestingly, this is not the only RPG element implemented in this project. Before the game begins, the devs will require us to create our own character, but it will have a marginal impact on the game.

CoD: Black Ops - Cold War will prove that war is also an art of choice.

It is worth noting that in terms of length, Cold War" is said not to differ from what we were used to in the previous installments. RPG elements should also not affect the intensity and diversity of the campaign. We will learn more about where the Treyarch team will take us, who they will make us face and what goals they will set for us, as well as the return of the zombie mode, from our preview.

Meanwhile, we can't help but take another look at the official teaser trailer of Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War and remind you that according to the leaks, the game is scheduled for release on November 13.
