Three Overdue Call of Duty Games Suddenly Hit Steam
Three backlogged installments of the Call of Duty series from 2019-2021 can now be bought on Steam. All of them are available 50% off for release.
Three overdue installments of Call of Duty series have unexpectedly arrived on Steam. Their pages have been spotted in advance in the platform's database (via Reddit), but it did not take long for the cards of these game to officially appear in Valve's store.
Steam users can now purchase three installments from 2019-2021: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War and Call of Duty: Vanguard. All of them will be available 50% off until March 23.
It looks like all (or at least most) of the DLCs released for these games can also be purchased on Steam. Unfortunately, none of these expansions got a reduced price. In addition, the platform offer CoD points,, an in-game premium currency. There are several options to choose from, ranging from 200 points for $2 to 10,000 points for almost $100.
Although Activision Blizzard did not announce these "debuts," they are not a complete surprise. Last year's Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 were immediately released on Steam. Apparently another publisher has signed a truce with Valve's platform.
