Patch 1.3 and First DLC for Crusader Kings 3 Get Release Date
Paradox Interactive has revealed the release date of its first paid expansion pack for Crusader Kings 3. It will be the Viking-themed Northern Lords pack. Along with the DLC, patch 1.3 will also be introduced to the game.
We've learned the release date of the first paid DLC for Crusader Kings 3 and the free update numbered 1.3. Both will be released on Tuesday, March 16. The expansion will be called Northern Lords.
As the title suggests, the DLC will focus on the people of Scandinavia, specifically the Vikings. Northern Lords is a themed pack that will allow Northern rulers to leave their kingdoms to venture into foreign lands. The game will also add new inheritance options, a number of events related to Scandinavian traditions, and several ways to offer sacrifice to the gods. In addition, the expansion will offer new graphical elements and a new soundtrack. All this for the price of roughly $5.
Along with the release of the new DLC, the game will also received the announced patch 1.3, which will introduce, among other things, winter, the option to torture people with poetry and expanded dueling system. The update will also fix a number of bugs and gameplay balance.
