Borderlands Movie Actors on Set and Begin Shooting
The shooting of Borderlands movie has started. This was confirmed by Ariana Greenblatt, Tiny Tina's actress, who posted a photo from the set.

After more than a year, the coronavirus pandemic is still affecting the world, perhaps even more than before. However, filmmakers are not thinking of delaying the production of their works any longer. Ariana Greenblatt confirmed the announced start of shooting for the movie adaptation of the Borderlands series. The 13-year-old actress, playing the role of the short-fused demolitions expert Tiny Tina, shared a photo from the set of Eli Roth's (the Hostelseries) movie on Twitter.
We've known about the Borderlands movie for quite some time, but it wasn't until early 2020 that the director and writer (Chernobyl's screenwriter Craig Mazin) were confirmed. We had to wait even longer for the first actors involved in the production to be revealed, including - in addition to Ariana Greenblatt - Kevin Hart as Roland, Cate Blanchett as Lilith, and Jack Black as the voice of Claptrap. For now, not even an approximate release date for the film has been announced.
