2K Games and Gearbox Software brought the first gameplay trailer and some details about their new joint work – Borderlands 4. The game will be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X/S.

In Borderlands 4, we will face a new villain - a ruthless dictator known as The Timekeeper, as well as the consequences of a catastrophe that threatens not only his order but also causes real chaos on Kairos, the most dangerous planet discovered so far in the Borderlands universe.

  1. The developers will once again provide us with Vault Hunters, diversified in terms of combat style and preferred weaponry.
  2. The skill trees here are supposed to be the "most diverse" in the series' history, and they will be complemented by "billions" of different types of weapons.
  3. The creators promise a "more dynamic world" that we will traverse, performing main and side quests, and participating in various events.
  4. The exploration of visited locations will be made more attractive and improved by vehicles, which can now be summoned to any location.
  5. Of course, the title will allow for single-player fun or cooperative mode for up to four players.
