Although the 29th season of Diablo 3's multiplayer was the last to bring new content to the action RPG, the subsequent struggles haven't become any less appealing. An example of this is the upcoming 32nd season, which will start on July 12th. Thanks to it, the third part can serve as a pleasant diversion from the fourth installment, the 5th season of which is currently under testing and will begin in August, about two months before the October release of the Vessel of Hatred expansion.

As the Nephalem reflect on Sanctuary's history, instruments of power from a bygone era resurface. These ethereal memories will grant those persistent enough to search for them unimaginable power. Legends of the past will manifest once more in the present, and you must decide how to best use these gifts—for ethereal power is fugacious by nature, and will soon return to being no more than a myth -- we read in the season description on Blizzard's blog.

According to the developers, the 32nd season of the game will see the comeback of 21 "refreshed" weapons known from Diablo 2. Ethereals - possessing a set of powerful affixes, a random legendary, class weapon power, and class passive power - are meant to be "rare, powerful, and fleeting items."

Anyone who collects all 21 Ethereals in a season will receive the "Ethereal Recollection" achievement. This, in turn, will provide access to all Ethereal transmogrify options in the future, both in the seasonal game and in the non-seasonal mode.

Blizzard also took care of two decorative elements: the portrait frame of the Teganze Warrior and the Bat pet. Furthermore, fans can look forward to shoes and trousers from the Conqueror set, as well as the iconic wings of Andariel. Players will be able to acquire them by completing all seasonal progress goals.

The devs add that for completing chapters II, III, and IV of these last ones, players will receive three Haedrig's Gifts. Each of them contains several elements of one of the class sets. Participants of the game can in this way unlock only one of them per season in "hardcore" and "non-hardcore" mode.
