The next, 28th season of Diablo 3 will begin in the next few weeks, but fans of the game will be able to test its content before then. Blizzard has revealed plans for update 2.7.5 and the new features it introduces. This will undoubtedly be an excellent opportunity to "warm up" before the June release of Diablo 4.

From the information provided via Blizzard's official website we learn that the new season is called Rituals of Sanctuary, and players will be able to try out the accompanying update starting January 31 on the game's public test server.

The latest patch for Diablo 3 is growing into one of the biggest patches that Blizzard's work has received in a long time. The list of changes and new features is long, and one of the most important is undoubtedly the addition of the powerful Altar of Rituals to the game..

After its activation, we will see 26 icons called Seals and three legendary potion powers. In turn, our task will be to break these seals and thus unlock special powers for the characters. Interestingly, in addition to the powers themselves, we will be rewarded with a unique cosmetic item - Wings of Terror (see image below).

It is worth mentioning that the update will also add a feature to earn rare currency. In addition, changes will be made to the Monk class skills and selected items.

Considering the upcoming release of Diablo 4, the number of upcoming new features for the third installment, (which is already considered by many to be almost a dead game) is very surprising. It is worth commending Blizzard for continuing to support its more than 10-year-old creation.
