It is not yet clear whether the developers will also share it with players from other regions (and if so, when). Nevertheless, the latter can expect a lot of new gameplay footage to see the light of day after the demo launches. In the meantime, everyone can see the latest artwork (which we present below) and the updated look of the main character (the image above).
Full version of Black Myth: Wu Kong is scheduled to debut on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in the summer of 2024.
- The source of inspiration for Black Myth: Wu Kong is a traditional Chinese novel titled Journey to the West, which tells the story of the journey of the monk Xuanzang. One of the key characters in the story is Wu Kong, also known as the Monkey King, whom we will play during the game.
- The mainstay of fun in Black Myth: Wu Kong will be combat. On the battlefield we will make use of a stick, which we will use to attack opponents, as well as block their blows and deflect arrows.
- In addition, the main character will have the ability to transform into various creatures, each of which will have unique uses. For example, in the skin of a fly we will avoid enemies, while as a monkey we will have extraordinary strength.
- The described game was initially created on the Unreal Engine 4, but over time, the developers decided to switch to a more modern technology - Unreal Engine 5.. The title impresses with its graphics.
