Baldur’s Gate 3 Players Seek Solution to Preserve Relationships With Minthara. Mod Removing This Thread Is Extremely Popular
Baldur's Gate 3 fans hate Minthara's new behavior so much that they've created a mod to remove unwanted dialogue. This is supposed to heal the hearts that the ruthless paladin has been breaking lately.
Not every Baldur's Gate 3 player is willing to take the path that will allow him to establish a relationship with Minthara. Those who have done so praise the complexity of the companion, but it has been disrupted in one of the recent updates. It turns out that the dissatisfaction of Minthara's fans was so great that they decided to do something about it and take matters into their own hands.
Necessity is the mother of mods
With Hotfix 21, Minthara began abruptly terminating connections with players who, as the Durge, grappled with the urge to kill. The behavior was supposed to be inconsistent with what the paladin had previously preached, so the players themselves "fixed" the companion. In early March, a mod emerged and garnered over a thousand individual downloads within a week, making it one of the most popular modifications on Nexus Mods.
The modification is called "Minthara Dialogue Bug Fix and Resist Durge breakup removed." The name suggests fixing a different bug that causes the companion to get stuck in repeating a single line, but the second component of the mod is definitely more important for fans. The conversation that led to ending the romance with the player has been entirely deleted.
Thanks to this, players can enjoy their relationship with Minthara, and the creator Spagetti33 deserves thanks, which fans of the game haven't forgotten:
You absolute legend. I was on a research rabbit hole, gearing up to do this and you've already done it. You deserve the world. I will tip you if I find a tips button.

God, thank you so much. I'm already tired of how the Larians are breaking it more and more... They fixed one dialogue, another appeared, but I'm generally silent about the scene with the Durge - it just breaks its entire plot.

The change was necessary and now players can only wait for words from Larian Studios. Fans are definitely waiting for explanations, whether Minthara's behavior is an error or if a total transformation of her character is being planned, which is likely to result in even more criticism from players if it proves to be true.
