Baldur's Gate 3 Hotfix 14 Targets Freezing and Brings Good News for Mac Users
Another patch has been released for Baldur's Gate 3, eliminating several issues plaguing the players and bringing the big Patch 5 to Macs.
Great victory of Baldur's Gate 3 at this year's The Game Awards doesn't relieve Larian of its desire to polish its flagship work. The game still needs improvements, which, by the way, are being successively introduced by the developers.
This time the game received hotfix numbered 14. The patch eliminates several minor crashes on various platforms..
Mac owners should be especially pleased with the update, as - according to the developers - it introduces to this edition of the game the entire Patch 5.
In addition, the hotfix targets possible game crashes, among others:
- when trying to load a game save in Honor mode;
- when a second player joins a split-screen game;
- during initial synchronization with the cloud on Xbox (extra memory was allocated);
- during trading with NPCs in the Underdark when a party character is near explosive mushrooms (bibberbangs).
You can read the full list of fixes here.
Unfortunately, Larian Studios still has not announced whether it has found a solution to the problem occurring for BG3 players on Xbox Series consoles. Recall that the crash is quite serious and causes loss of saves.
