Alien Invasion in EVE Online Continues - New Update Has Been Announced

CCP Games has announced the second part of the Invasion expansion to EVE Online. The next chapter will introduce new attractions and significant changes in the universe of the space MMO.

The alien invasion will soon enter its next phase.

For months now, EVE Online players have been facing a massive attack from the Triglavian race as part of the Invasion expansion. All indications are that the war will soon be over. CCP Games has announced the release of the second part of the add-on, which will launch on November 26 as a free update. Along with it, aliens will throw new forces into battle, including the previously unseen Zirnitra class. These mighty ships will be distinguished by their unique weapon in the form of an entropic disintegrator, which will make it as challenging as it will be rewarding.

In addition, EVE Online: Invasion Chapter 2 will introduce a handful of other new features to the game. So far, the devs have only boasted the much-anticipated feature of sharing bookmarks between allies, thanks to which allied pilots will be able to share the coordinates of important locations. Developers also promise improvements for newcomers to make it easier for them to get started with EVE Online. They will not forget about veterans, who will be addressed by the more frequent appearance of content packages, which will introduce more attractions to the game. Details were not given, but it is assured that they will fit into the existing policy of the team and will provide a lot of emotion:

"EVE has always been about actions having lasting and meaningful consequences, and with EVE Online: Invasion our goal has been to provide a universe-changing event for our community to experience in familiar space. Chapter 2 will double down on that promise, with some really exciting and impactful features," said Bergur Finnbogason, Creative Director of the game.
