Black List #2 - Bull | Career NFS Most Wanted Guide
Last update: 11 May 2016
You HAVE TO visit one of the local car dealers. Two of the most powerful cars will be waiting for you there. You should buy one of them. I have to warn you, though. Both vehicles are very expensive. You will also have to spend a lot of money on various performance upgrades.
McLaren Mercedes SLR (#1) doesn't only look good, but it also handles quite well. It's definitely the only Mercedes model you should be interested in. It's much better than the previous cars of this brand. Nevertheless, I wouldn't recommend buying it, because you will have an opportunity to win this car after you're done with Bull. Furthermore, the Porsche seems like a better alternative. The choice is yours...
Porsche Carrera GT (#2) is by far the most interesting car of the game. Take a closer look at the performance bars if you don't believe me. ;-) They're much better than those of the previous cars. Carrera GT is also better than the SLR, although the differences aren't that obvious in this case. Furthermore, Porsche is a lot cheaper than the Mercedes. Thanks to that, you could have spent extra cash on new performance upgrades.
Here's the list of Bull's requirements:
1) Races won: 8
2) Milestones completed: 5
3) Total number of points: 7550000+.
Races:
1. Circuit - Campus Interchange
This is a rather challenging race. You will be moving mostly on straight lines, and the computer will probably cheat a lot. ;-) You should have a very powerful car, so that you will be able to stay close to the rest of the pack. Remember to use nitro frequently. Once you've reached the first junction head on to the left path (#1). You might want to get back to the right lane in the nearby tunnel. You should also try blocking other cars, although it's a little bit risky. You will have to deal with several fast corners located near the finish line (#2). Try to avoid surrounding barriers at all costs. Choose the path located on your right and then use the nitro to secure this victory.
2. Tollbooth - Beacon & Petersburg
Use the lighthouse shortcut right after the start. You will have to deal with several corners along the way (#1). Thankfully, you should be able to cut through most of them. You should also be on a look out for any possible shortcuts. You may consider using a path located near the tunnel as well as the narrow roads situated near the tight turns (#2). The final part of this challenge is very easy. Once you've reached the junction head on to the path located on your right.
3. Tollbooth - Petersburg & Bond
There's a very challenging left turn located near the start line. You've got to be careful. You will encounter two other turns along the way. Thankfully, you should know them by now. Don't forget about the shortcuts (#1). You should be using all of them. There's a long stretch ahead. After that, you will have to deal with several new corners. Thankfully, you should be able to cut through most of them (#2). Don't hit anything while doing that.
4. Tollbooth - Bond & Beacon Bridge
The first part of this challenge isn't that hard as you might have probably suspected. You will have to deal with a lot of straight lines and some police forces. Watch out for the huge pillars, though (#1). You have to avoid them at all costs. After that, you will be forced to make a sudden left turn. You will find yourself on a huge stadium (#2). Continue moving forward. Don't try cutting through the next corner, because you might hit one of the surrounding walls.
Now for the hard part. First of all, you will have to deal with a lot of very difficult and tricky turns (#1). You must use your brakes aggressively. Don't forget about the nitro, either. Furthermore, you won't be able to cut through these corners, because there are a lot of barriers surrounding the track. There are some mild corners ahead. Cut through the last one and keep heading towards the finish line (#2).
5. Speedtrap - Lennox & Camden
This challenge is easier than the Speedtraps you've managed to accomplish before. Unlike in the other races, you should get some advantage thanks to those cameras who have been placed near fast corners (#1). It looks like the opponents have slower cars, so you shouldn't have too much problem beating them. Concentrate on cameras located on long stretches (#2). It would be best to use all remaining nitro near these points. You should also maintain a successful lead, although this is not necessary.
6. Sprint - Camden & Dunwich
The first part of the race is certainly an easiest one. After leaving the tunnel you will have to deal with several mild corners. Use the brakes near a tight left turn (it will appear once you've finished about 40% of the race). You should reach a series of tight turns very soon (#1). I'd recommend destroying the nearby roadblock. You might also consider using other shortcuts, although it is not necessary. Watch out for a very difficult left turn (#2), located near a small tunnel.
7. Drag - Camden & Seaside
This is a very easy Drag Race. You shouldn't have any problems with it. Don't worry if the other drivers will accelerate faster. You should be able to take back the lead from them in a few seconds. Just as before, you will have to avoid heavy traffic. Watch out for a huge truck (#1). If you're lucky, you should be able to drive under the trailer.
8. Circuit - East Park
First of all, you will have to deal with several tight corners (#1). They are located near the start line. If you have a good car you might as well use this to your advantage. Most of the opponents will probably slow down here. After leaving the tunnel make a left turn. The final part of this lap is much easier (#2), although you will have to remain cautious. Other drivers may try attacking you, however if you've managed to outrun them before, you shouldn't be worried about them now.
Milestones:
1. Cost to State Challenge (180000 points)
The rules of this challenge haven't changed since the last time. You will have to destroy everything that gets in your way. You shouldn't have any problems with leaving damages worth of at least 200000 dollars.
2. Pursuit Time Challenge (180000 points)
You shouldn't have any problems with this challenge. The objective is to maintain a successful pursuit for at least nine minutes. Remember that you can't lose the chase, otherwise the pursuit would have ended too early.
3. Spike Strip Challenge (180000 points)
You've probably noticed that all of the pursuits start from the highest, fifth level. It's because sergeant Cross wants to capture all of the remaining Black List drivers. His officers are driving fast Chevy's so you've got to be extra careful (#1). You might have some problems with losing them, though. I'd recommend moving at high speeds and making some risky manoeuvres. As for this milestone, you will have to avoid at least eight spike strips (#2). Remember to stay on the freeway and avoid hitting the roadblocks.
4. Roadblock Challenge (180000 points)
During this challenge you will have to successfully avoid at least twelve roadblocks. You've probably noticed that you will be equally awarded for both types of them - with or without the spike strips. If you're lucky, you will only have to avoid for "usual" roadblocks.
5. Photo Ticket (114000 points)
You shouldn't have any problems with getting a required speed. I'd recommend scoring all of the challenges in order to get extra points.
MAIN EVENT:
You will have to take part in three different events. The Circuit race is the most difficult one, at least in my personal opinion. It's mostly because making a lot of mistakes will force you to repeat a lot more than in a Sprint run.
1. Circuit - Oil Refinery
There are some straight lines and mild corners after the start. This should help to achieve a comfortable lead. You can also activate nitro from time to time. You will come across two difficult corners (#1). You might want to cut through them a little. Be sure to monitor your opponent, so you won't lose the lead. The refinery district is next. Use the well known right shortcut (#2). Just as before, I'd recommend activating the Speedbreaker to help you get past it safely.
2. Sprint - Ironhorse & Coast
The first part of the race is very easy. After you reach a series of sharp turns destroy the small barricade in order to use a shortcut (#1). Stay on the main road and concentrate on picking a correct route. There's a difficult corner located near the next tunnel. You should know this part of the map very well. Watch out for a difficult right corner (#2). You will have to slow down a lot in order to get through it safely. Bull will start accelerating near the finish. You have to be ready for that. Activate the nitro. Watch out for a small jump!
3. Sprint - Seaside Interchange
Use the nitro to help you achieve a decent speed quickly. You should be able to reach a more difficult right turn within a few seconds (#1). If you're lucky, you will go through it without losing too much speed. You should be encountering small junctions along the way. There's a challenging left turn nearby (#1). Don't forget about the possibility of activating nitro or the Speedbreaker feature. They'll come in handy.
You might want to consider using the shortcut located on your right, however this is not necessary. Watch out for a very sharp right turn (#1). You will have to deal with it swiftly. You should find yourself on the freeway. Start accelerating. Bear in mind that your opponent will probably get closer. You will have to block his movements. There's a small jump located just before the finish line (#2). Be careful. Other than that, you shouldn't have any problems with this race.
Bull was driving a Mercedes SLR with all of the performance upgrades installed. Like I've said before, it would be best to win this car, however I'd personally recommend the Carrera GT. SLR might come in handy in several races, mostly those which include a lot of straight lines.
