Metro Exodus: Types of weapons Metro Exodus Guide and Walkthrough
Last update: 25 January 2022
In Metro Exodus, you can find four types of weapons: handguns, shotguns, rifles and special weapons. They differ only in damage, speed, stability, accuracy and magazine capacity.
Handguns
Revolver - basic weapon, with which you depart from the metro. You can improve it in different ways.
Bastard (Sobaka) - a weapon with a short range, but with a lot of ammo. Use it to eliminate enemies jumping towards you.
Shotguns
Shambler Shot Gun(Automatic shotgun) - is a rifle that, when upgraded, can act as the best rifle. You can improve its barrel, change its magazine and significantly increase its firing speed.
A-Shot (Automatic) - basic shotgun, made to be upgraded.
Rifles
Kalash (AK-74M) - it's an assault rifle that you can transform according to your own idea with mods.
Bulldog (Bulldog) - much stronger than Kalash. It has increased targeting, stability and damage compared to more common weapons of the same type. However, it has a much lower rate of firing, which allows you to make slow, accurate shots.
Gatling (Gatling) - machine gun with incredibly high fire rate, perfect for fights with fast and agile enemies.
Special Weapons
Tikhar (Tihar) - is one of the quieter weapons available in the game. In addition, you can make it into an incendiary weapon with the help of special ammunition.
Helsing (Helsing) - a crossbow with which you can deal damage quietly from a long distance.
Throwing Knives - use this weapon to stealth kill enemies standing a few meters away.
Explosive - a perfect weapon to eliminate groups of enemies.
Molotov Cocktail - another great weapon to eliminate groups of enemies. It can also serve as a source of light in dark corridors.
