Artyom and his comrades reached the Caspian Sea, the land of sand, heat and... bandits. This chapter focuses on the beginning of your adventure here, and on the search for a car.

You need to follow the car that has chased the Aurora recently. Leave the train. Remember to refill your supplies and ammo. After that, follow Alyosha. The man will show you the car's last known location.

Head towards the train wrecks. You receive a message from Damir about an incoming sand storm. Watch out for mutants and other beasts - go to the large building in the distance.

Bandits and the car are outside the building. Go inside, kill mutants and keep moving through the rooms. Break the door and go up the stairs. One of the bandits will use a surprise attack - defeat him (a QTE sequence). You now have to decide whether you want to kill him or stun. This choice has an impact on your chapter. If you want to get the good ending, choose the stun option.

You get the car key. Slide down the rope and then go back to the car. Kill a few mutants. When you get in the car, a mutant will attack you (QTE sequence). Damir arrives. He has a new mission for you - Artyom must reach the lighthouse.
