Basic information about trophies
- Kingdoms of Amalur allows you to get up to 62 achievements. In the original version of the game there are 1 Platinum Trophy, 4 Gold, 8 Silver and 49 Bronze Trophies and in the remaster Re-Reckoning there are 1 Platinum Trophy, 1 Gold, 4 Silver and 56 Bronze Trophies. Achievements are available on all platforms except a Nintendo Switch.
- Trophy requirements are common for all versions of the game, i.e. for the original 2012 release and for the remaster Kingdoms of Amalur Re-Reckoning 2020. An important difference is that the remaster requires to deal with DLC trophies (The Legend of Dead Kel and The Teeth of Naros) to unlock platinum one. In the case of the original release of the game, these achievements are optional and it is possible to get a platinum trophy without dealing with them.
- It is possible to get 100% of achievements within a single run of the game but you have to decide in this situation to set a high level of difficulty and keep in mind that a few trophies you can miss (we warn about this in the descriptions of achievements).
- Kingdoms of Amalur is a long game and you have to reckon with the fact that getting all the achievements can be a very time-consuming process. Expect that getting Platinum will force you to spend with the game about 80 hours. Roughly 70 hours are the content and achievements of the main campaign, and another 10 hours are trophies associated with DLC content.
- Many trophies require repeating the same actions e.g. killing X amount of opponents or opening X amount of containers. It is good to remember about them from the very beginning of the game in order to have time to meet their assumptions before reaching the final of the adventure.
- Some trophies are related to specific skills, requiring e.g. investing a certain number of development points in a specific ability or skill tree. In this case, keep in mind about the possibility of reset spent skill points thanks to visiting Fateweaver. This will make it easier for you to get these types of achievements without having to restart the whole game.

Destiny Dominated
Trophy type: gold

Comment: You must choose a Hard difficulty when starting a new campaign and you mustn't lower difficulty level through the whole game. Ignore all game suggestions about setting a lower difficulty level that may appear on the Game Over screen (then you die multiple times).
In completing the game at a Hard level helpful can be e.g. Reckoning Mode, which you will get access for the first time in the main task - Into the Light. It temporarily increases the speed and strength of the character's attacks. In addition, we advise:
- save game frequently,
- take care of the consumable equipment and keep them in good condition - repair it regularly,

Comment: This is one of the achievements associated with completing some side quests of the game. In this case, you need to be interested in all the optional quests of the Warsworn storyline.
You can start the mercenary fraction storyline at Odarath in the Land of Dalentarth, and you need to complete the following side missions:
- The Commendation
- The Road Patrol

Reckoning Rampage
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Killed 5 enemies with a single Fateshift.
Comment: This trophy is associated with the Reckoning Mode, which is unlocked early in the game (temporarily increase attack power and speed of your character) - you can activate it with a combination of buttons L1+R1/LB+RB. This is possible if the Fate bar has been filled.
Fateshift is an attack that ends in Reckoning Mode, which can be performed on a weakened opponent, and its successful execution can also cause damage to surrounding enemies. Try to use this attack in any battle with at least 5 low-level opponents to be sure that Fateshift will be able to work correctly.
Niskaru Slayer
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Killed 25 Niskaru.
Comment: Niskaru is the name of one of the monsters type in the game, which appear in different form and in various main and side quests. It is almost certain that during the playthrough you will get rid of more than 25 of these creatures.
Out of Your League
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Killed an enemy 4 levels higher than you.
Comment: Attention - This achievement can be missed. You need to special interest of them, because during the normal run of the game it is unlikely that there will be an accidental fulfillment of its assumptions. This is because the more obvious solution is to explore regions with opponents that are close to the character, rather than clearly exceeding him in level.
The sooner you get interested in this trophy (optimally soon after the start of a new game), the easier it will be for you to get it. Go to one of the regions with stronger opponents and look for enemies marked in red. Try to get rid of one such opponent (it's best that he doesn't have any defense). If you have problems with this playing at a Hard difficulty, then start a separate new game at a low level of difficulty in order to more easily kill some enemy with a higher level.
Cleaning Up the Streets
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Killed 50 bandits.
Comment: This trophy you should get during the normal run of the game, while you can also deliberately attack all encountered bandits during the usual exploration of the world.
To the Victor Go the Spoils
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Found 10 unique items dropped by enemies.
Comment: Unique Items are shown by pink color marking. You should find them much more than 10 throughout the whole game. Moreover, the described achievement also counts those pink items that you found e.g. in chest as loot, not only those that were obtained from defeated opponents.
Foiled Again! (Foiled Again!)
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Parried 100 times.
Comment: This achievement applies to the correct parry the attacks of opponents by a shield (you must have any shield from the inventory set as active) - you can do this by pressing L1/LB just before the enemy attack reaches the character. Each correctly executed action of this type will run a temporary slow-motion. Try to use this ability in as many fights as possible.
Trapper
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Killed 25 enemies with traps.
Comment: You can't deal with this trophy from the very beginning of the game. First, you need to unlock skill related to setting traps from the Finesse tree. From this time, look for opportunities to place traps before the hero will be attacked by the encountered enemies. It is a good idea to set them up in narrow passages so that the opponents do not bypass them.
Riposte! (Riposte!)
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Landed 25 special attacks out of Parry.
Comment: This achievement is a more difficult version of the previously described trophy Foiled Again!. In this case to the correct pairing of the opponent's attack (L1/LB pressed at the last moment), you must additionally launch your own attack. Unfortunately, this is not possible by default and you will have to unlock one of two possible abilities:
- the Precise Weaponry IV (Finesse Tree) skill - you will be able to use a dagger and faeblade to attack after pairing,
- the Brutal Weaponry IV (Might Tree)skill - you will be able to use a longsword, great sword or hammer to attack after pairing.
Would You Like Fries With That? (Would You Like Fries With That?)
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Landed 100 complete attack chains.
Comment: Attack Chains is a series of strikes performed by pressing the attack button repeatingly. The number of attacks in the full series depending on the used weapon. The game will count only those attack sequences that have been completed and have not been interrupted, e.g. by evasion, an enemy attack or a longer break.
Shock and Awe
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Killed 100 enemies with abilities.
Comment: You can buy new abilities from the 3 available skill trees. In this case, only attacks using active abilities are counted, while you have full freedom to choose between them and you can, for example, rely on the same favorite skill all the time.
And Then There Were None
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Killed 500 enemies with abilities.
Comment: This is a more difficult version of the above-described Shock and Awe trophy. Try to use abilities from the very beginning of the game and especially on weaker opponents in order to have time to get rid of a total of 500 enemies by the end of the game.
Juggler
Trophy type: bronze (silver in the original version of the game)
Description: Landed 5 consecutive hits on an airborne enemy.
Comment: This achievement consists of two parts:
- use any melee weapon to throw the enemy into the air,
- quickly switch to longbow and hit the enemy 5 times by arrows before he falls back to the ground.
Elixir of Fate
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Made a potion with the Essence of Fate.
Comment: This is one of the trophies associated with the theme Alchemy and you must also have at least seven development points invested in alchemy.
Collect at least 4 ingredients of Essence Of Fate (you can collect this item e.g. as a loot for defeating opponents) and visit any Alchemy Lab. Decide to start experiments and choose the Essence of Fate as the only ingredient in the prepared potion. When the operation will be successful then you will unlock the achievement.
It Didn't Explode! (It Didn't Explode!)
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Made a stable potion by experimenting.
Comment: This is one of the trophies associated with the theme of Alchemy. The easiest way to get them is in combination with the achievement described above Elixir of Fate, because the creation of this potion will be considered as a successful experiment. Alternatively, you can also choose to experiment and create any other stable elixir based on your alchemical ingredients.
Green Thumb
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Harvested 10 of each type of reagent.

- White Flake
- Ysa's Breath

Description: Repaired a piece of equipment.
Comment: In the game, to repair the equipment items are used the repair kits which you can choose from the inventory and then decide which damaged item to repair. You can find repair kits in the game world or buy from dealers. Use any of them to make any repairs.
Shop Class
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Crafted a piece of equipment with Blacksmithing.
Comment: This is one of the achievements related to the topic Crafting and specifically Blacksmithing. Its assumptions are fortunately simple - visit any Blacksmithing Forge from the game world and create any object. It is best to choose one of the easiest objects to create so that you don't have to look for rare materials for crafting. All common ingredients can be found together with another loot.
Master of the Forge
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Crafted an item that uses all 5 forge component slots.
Comment: This is one of the achievements related to the topic of Crafting and it requires to spending at least 7 Development Points on Blacksmithing, because only then after visiting the forge, you will be able to create an item with 5 slots. You will need materials for crafting and some Gem.
Romancing the Gem
Trophy type: bronze
Description of achievement: Crafted an Epic Gem.
Comment: This is one of the achievements related to the topic of Crafting and it requires at least 8 Development Points spent on Sagecraft.
You must reach any Sagecraft Altar from the game world, choose Craft Gems and then Epic Gem. This requires 2 Pristine Shards associated with the achievement Diamond in the Rough which is described below.
Diamond in the Rough
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Crafted a Pristine Shard.
Comment: This is one of the achievements related to the topic of crafting and it requires at least 3 Development Points spent on Sagecrafting.
You have to reach any Sagecraft Altar from the game world, choose Craft gems and then Strengthen Shards. To produce a Pristine Shard you need 2 Lambent Shards. You can find them in the game world or get them from a combination of fragments of even lower quality gem - Cloudy Shard.
They Never Saw It Coming
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Backstabbed 20 enemies.
Comment: This trophy is related to the theme Sneaking which you can activate by pressing R2 / right trigger. In addition, you must have Dagger or Faeblade because only these weapons are usable for backstabbing attacks.
Look for opportunities to sneak from behind to single enemies and perform Sneak Attacks. You not have to kill your opponent, because only the fact of the attack in the back matters. It's worth pointing out that you can increase your chances of avoiding detection by investing Development Points in skills related to Sneaking (especially in Assassin's art).
Cartographer
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Discovered 100 locations.
Comment: This trophy should be unlocked without any problems during the normal run of the game, because the achievement does not force you to find 100% of the locations from the world map. There are also large locations to discover (e.g. cities and villages), as well as smaller ones (e.g. caves).
The Great Detective
Trophy type: bronze

Comment: Hidden Things can be treated as a collectibles. They can be e.g. stone piles or wells. To help you find them, invest your Development Points in Detect Hidden skill. In addition, the vibrations of the controller can inform you about being near hidden items.
Loremaster
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Found all Lorestones.
Comment: Lorestones are unique boulders scattered over the game world that you can treat as the collectibles. Their discovery allows you to play recordings that deepen your knowledge of the game world, and you can additionally earn bonuses to statistics. Location's descriptions of the lorestones were listed in our guide by the locations in which they occur:
- Lorestone from the Land of Dalentarth
- Lorestone from the Plains of Erathell
- Lorestone from the Lands of Detyne, Clurikon and Alabaster
Unfortunately this achievement is time-consuming, because there is a total of 175 Lorestone to find.
Bookworm
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Read 50 books.
Comment: The description of this trophy can be a little confusing, because the game counts not only read books, but also i.a. scrolls and letters. You can read the book immediately after finding it or by selecting it from the inventory.
Look for subsequent books and other documents in each newly location, and in particular on shelves and racks. In the game there are much more than 50 of them, so you do not have to strive to discover all possible books.
Big Spender
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Spent 200,000 gold.
Comment: You should have no problem collecting a total of 200,000 pieces of gold throughout the game. Remember to look carefully for loot, sell unnecessary things and take on side quests.
You don't have to spend 200 thousand on a single transaction and you can also spend smaller amounts of gold on regular purchases of single-use items or items of equipment, because all purchases are recorded by the game and added together with previous expenses.
Five Finger Discount
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Stole and fenced an item.
Comment: For this achievement, you can use pick-pocketing or steal the red item - in plain sight or in a container. Regardless of the chosen option, make sure that the main character is not getting caught - help yourself with the Stealth mode and look around before stealing in search of possible witnesses.
Unfortunately, you can't sell stolen items to every game world merchant. To do this, you must visit one of the black marketeer and it could be e.g. a person from the Star Camp located in the Haxhi region.
(Where's My Wallet? (Where's My Wallet?)
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Pickpocketed 20 times.
Comment: This achievement is similar to the trophy Five Finger Discount which was described above. For this trophy you need to focus entirely on pickpocketing and use it successfully a total of 20 times. It does not have to be 20 different NPCs, because you can try to rob the same character several times (always steal only 1 item).
As like the previous achievement, always check the surroundings and do not attempt to steal while in sight. Use Stealth mode to sneak from behind to the characters you are going to rob. You can increase your chances by investing Development Points in Assassin's Art and robbing sleeping NPCs.
Jailbreak
Trophy type: bronze
Description: You broke out of jail.
Comment: You can go to jail if you you're gonna commit a crime. (e.g. theft, murder), which will be noticed by other NPCs, and then you'll get caught by the guards and you will agree to voluntary submission to penalty. You may break the law just by accident or you can intentionally do this - in the second case, save the game, because go to prison causes the loss of some experience points.
After being in a cell use the lock-pick which is the only item in the character's inventory. Opening the cell door will be awarded by a trophy. You don't have to do any other steps to get back your equipment and leave the jail.
A Life of Crime
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Got caught committing a crime 25 times.
Comment: This trophy is another of those in which you must to break the law. Here you are free to choose the crimes (e.g. theft, attacking friendly NPC's), but keep in mind that for more serious ones, will be severe punishment for that.
Every time a guard stops you, it is best to choose the option of paying a fine. If you do not want to lose a large amount of gold in this way, then save the game and only then proceed to 25 different thefts. This will allow you to load the previous game state after you obtain the achievement and to regain the gold lost due to fines.
Crime Doesn't Pay
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Spent over 10,000 gold in crime bribes.
Comment: This is another trophy for committing crimes and you can combine the efforts to obtain it with the achievement described above A Life of Crime. Every time a guard stops you, choose the option of giving him gold. If you want to get the trophy faster, you can intentionally commit serious crimes (eg. murders), which will involve a larger bribe to hand over.
Some of This, Some of That
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Unlocked a two-class hybrid destiny.
Comment: This is one of the trophies associated with level up your characters and spending Development Points earned in this way.
In order to unlock two-class hybrid destiny, you must spend at least 6 skill points in two different branches of one of the development trees (e.g. Might).
It Is Your Destiny
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Unlocked a top tier destiny.
Comment: This is one of the trophies associated with level up your characters and spending Development Points earned in this way.
This achievement is a more difficult version of the above-described trophy Some of This, Some of That and it will become possible to unlock after advancing at Level 36. You have to spend a total of 109 Skill Points - you can focus on one branch or spend evenly between different branches.
Jack of All Trades

To obtain this achievement, you must spend at least 2 Development Points in each branch of the ability trees. The point is to have unlocked some skills from all available branches.
Breaking and Entering
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Picked 50 locks.
Comment: Look for opportunities to open locks from the very beginning of the game, while it is worth mentioning that you must have the lock-picks and each time win the mini-game. Its difficulty level can be reduced by investing Development Points in the ability to Lockpicking.
Open Sesame
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Dispelled 50 wards.
Comment: Protection spells are applied on some of the chests from the game world and you can recognize them by purple color. This is a form of protection, and in order to break the protection spell it is required to pass the mini-game , which consists in selecting the appropriate symbols before the time runs out.
You can reduce the difficulty level of the mini-game by investing Development Points in the Dispelling Skill, and it is also good to save the game before each attempt, as failing the mini-game can weaken or kill the character.
A Wink And A Smile
Trophy type: bronze
Description: You have succeeded at 50 Persuasion attempts.
Comment: this achievement can be missed - too frequent unsuccessful attempts of persuasion can lead to a situation in which you will run out of "candidates" to conduct further attempts (in the whole game there are about 80 attempts of persuasion). We recommend saving the game before each attempt is initiated.
Invest in Persuasion which will increase your chances of successful attempts at persuasion. They are marked in green color in the text during conversations and each of them has a percentage chance of success. If you failed, we recommend that you load the game state before the conversation and try again.
Bull In A China Shop
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Smashed 1,000 objects.
Comment: This achievement is not difficult, but it is worth to remember about its requirements from the beginning of the game. Try to destroy all boxes and other small objects in all newly visited locations.

Manic Pixie Dream Elf
This is the DLC (The Legend of Dead Kel) trophy. In remaster Re-Reckoning it is required to get platinum.
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Wooed Rast Brattigan.
Comment: This achievement is easy to miss. When traveling together with Rast Brattigan as part of the DLC content you must select top right dialog options in conversations with her. If you make a mistake and select the wrong dialog options, load the previous game state immediately. Correctly selected dialogue options will eventually unlock the trophy and you don't need to get into any additional romance.
Exterminator
This is the DLC (The Legend of Dead Kel) trophy. In remaster Re-Reckoning it is required to get platinum.
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Killed 50 Scavs.

This is the DLC (The Teeth of Naros) trophy. In remaster Re-Reckoning it is required to get platinum.
Trophy type: bronze

You can increase your chances by playing at a lower difficulty level and using the Reckoning Mode to weaken the leader more effectively.

Description: You've found a strange Almain who has been hiding in the sewers of Idylla.
Comment: This achievement can be missed. You have to develop skill Detect Hidden at least up to Level 5. If you have not developed this ability sufficiently, make sure to spend Development Points on it before completing the game.
You need to look for Almain and for this purpose go to location Undersewers. Thanks to this skill (Detect Hidden), you will find hidden doors in the sewers.
Beam Me Up
This is the DLC (The Teeth of Naros) trophy. In remaster Re-Reckoning it is required to get platinum.
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Used the Henge to enter Idylla.
Comment: This trophy is associated with a story quest Rites of Passage from the main storyline DLC and as a result, you can't miss this trophy.
Murder Most Fowl
This is the DLC (The Teeth of Naros) trophy. In remaster Re-Reckoning it is required to get platinum.
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Killed 50 Pteryx.
Comment: Pteryxy is the name of the new flying monsters appearing in the DLC The Teeth of Naros. You can kill them as you progress through some quests, though you'll probably be forced to look for more monsters once you've completed all the DLC quests.
I Regret Nothing
This is the DLC (The Teeth of Naros) trophy. In remaster Re-Reckoning it is required to get platinum.
Trophy type: bronze
Description: Fell to your death from the Idylla Concourse.
Comment: This is an easy trophy, as part of which you must visit the location Idylla Concourse. You'll find a big hole in it, and all you have to do is jump into it to score a fall from a great height. Of course, it is worth saving the game status in advance.
