Missions are very important in Just Cause 4. Exploration of the game's world without any clear goal and destruction are both interesting activities. However, missions take you to new locations and unlock access to new equipment. This page focuses on the various types of missions in Just Cause 4 as well as potential rewards for completing them.

Types of missions in Just Cause 4

The game features five types of missions - try to complete all of them. Open the map. You will see the list of available missions along with their icons.

  1. Main missions - these missions are part of the main plot. They are related to region strikes missions.
  2. Region strikes - the goal of these missions is to weaken the regime. You will, i.e. destroy enemy bases or free prisoners. Complete them to capture new regions and unlock main missions. Squad reserves are necessary for region strikes.
  3. Sargento missions - in these missions, you will unlock Retractor modification and a few other upgrades for it.
  4. Garland missions - in these missions, you will unlock Booster modification and a few other upgrades for it.
  5. Javi missions - in these missions, you will unlock Airlifters modification and a few other upgrades for it.
