River City Ransom 2 is an arcade brawl produced by Miracle Kidz, which is a remake of a hit known from the NES console. Players direct the actions of high school students, who go to the rescue of the headmaster and one of their friends kidnapped by the Stick Gang. The game has been enriched with RPG elements allowing to develop heroes' skills.

Ring matches are modelled on television reports, and among the playable characters one can find equivalents of many old and current celebrities of this sport.
