Wedding Stories is another big expansion (game pack) to popular The Sims 4 life simulator. Game was developed by EA Maxis.
Game mechanics
The add-on introduces to the game new location - Tartosa - coastal town in Mediterranean style. We can stay here only for a small wedding party or live here permanently. There are many places where you can prepare for this important moment in your sim's life - a boutique with wedding clothes to try on, a cake shop, a flower stand, ballrooms or picturesque locations (some of these elements were created with the help of the community). Surroundings, accessories, outfits and the wedding itself can resemble ceremonies from our cultural circle or refer to Indian or Chinese traditions.
Apart from accessories, there are also a lot of new interactions and small mechanics related to the theme of love. We will now organize a variety of events, including an engagement party, vow renewal, bachelor and bachelorette parties. We also have more freedom to customize the wedding and other celebrations depending on our tastes - we can plan speeches, toasts, cake cutting, bouquet tossing and dances, choose the ring, outfits, food and gifts, and decide who will lead our sim down the aisle to his/her other half. After the wedding, we can gift our newlyweds a vacation to crown their efforts.
Technical aspects
The Sims 4: Wedding Stories is not a standalone expansion and requires the base version of the game to work.
