Original message
Information about the next DLC for The Sims 4 has just leaked online. Fan known as Britney Lunar posted some screenshots and information from this expansion on Twitter, claiming that she found them in the "dark recesses of the Internet". The footage she shared suggests that the DLC will be titled My Wedding Stories and will revolve around weddings.
The addition will enable us to play out entire sequences related to such events. After the proposal it will be necessary to plan an engagement dinner, conduct rehearsals before the wedding and organize bachelor/bachelorette parties for our sims.
Wedding and reception planning itself is expected to be even more extensive, enabling us to choose between different locations, outfits, menu cards, decorations, and guest attractions.
Of course, until the official announcement of all this information should be approached with caution. However, the released materials seem convincing.
The Sims 4 deal on Steam
It's worth mentioning that Steam currently has a free weekend of The Sims 4, enabling us to test the game without paying. There are also big discounts.
The devs add weddings, while fans funerals and private health care.
Despite the ton of additions and updates, The Sims 4 is still far from representing all aspects of human life. Fortunately, the game has a very active modding community. Those waiting for the release of My Wedding Stories should try out two projects expanding the game with new elements:
- Mortem introduces to the game a realistic system of death and everything connected with it. Sims die as they would in the real world, not at the hands of Death. Their death is confirmed by a doctor, and then it is necessary to organize a funeral.
- Private Practice thoroughly redesigns and expands the health mechanics. It introduces health insurance, pharmaceutics, optometrists and plastic surgeons.
