Sifu Launches Today; Devs on Post-release Content
Unusual indie game Sifu is here. On this occasion we received a special trailer and some information about the post-release content - including whether the game will feature multiplayer.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- Today marks the release of Sifu;
- On this occasion, a launch trailer for the title was presented;
- It was announced that the game will receive additional content in the future;
- However, we shouldn't expect multiplayer.
The long-awaited action game Sifu launches today, enabling us to feel like Bruce Lee. The game is available on PC (for now only on Epic Games store), PS5 and PS4. It is distinguished from other productions of this type by, among other things, high difficulty level and ageing mechanics. Sifu has been well received among critics, which heralds a bright future for the game.

Post-release content
Will there be multiplayer in Sifu?
- GamingBolt interviewed Félix Garczynski, marketing manager at studio Sloclap (creators of Sifu);
- Garczynski stated that Sifu - unlike Absolver, the studio's previous game - is a single player game and will remain a single player game..
"(...) we are an independent developer with limited resources, so we wanted the team to focus on creating an immersive and distinctive single player experience."
The future of Sifu
- In the interview, Garczynski admitted that the studio has plans for post-release content for Sifu;
- He did not reveal, however, what form it will take. We can theorize that it will most likely be new gameplay modes, moves or story expansions.
