Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. Heroes of Might and Magic IV

The fourth installment in a best-selling series of strategy games initiated in 1995 by New World Computing. The game is set in Jadame - a fantasy world the players can associate with Might & Magic VIII. Six factions were included here and each of those has their own towns, different units and technologies. Each of them also has a dedicated school of magic and can hire characters belonging to one race only (Strongholds are the only exception).

You play as the head of a typical American family, who has to provide for his loved ones in the face of an incoming nuclear war. The game starts 60 seconds before the first explosion, giving you one minute to get to a shelter while grabbing the most essential provisions on the way.

The plot of Halo Wars opens a whole new chapter in the universe, and supplements the original title’s story.

Xenonauts 2

A sequel to the turn-based science-fiction strategy game from Goldhawk Interactive, developed as a spiritual successor to the classic tactical game, UFO: Enemy Unknown. The story of Xenonauts 2 is not a direct continuation but an alternative retelling of the events from the previous game, telling of an alien invasion on Earth during the Cold War period. In general, the gameplay remains largely the same and is divided into two parts, namely, base management and combat missions.
