One of the oldest PC racing cars, a faithful adaptation of the slot machine game, which was designed in 1982 by the Japanese company Namco and published in the United States by Atari.
Gracz will play the role of a Formula 1 driver and will take part in the competition at the Japanese Fuji circuit. The game was divided into two stages: qualifying and main race. In the first of them we have to complete one lap as soon as possible, which will determine our position on the start list. The actual competition is only a competition with other drivers, although the time limit is equally important and in each lap you have to stay within the specified time limit. The audio-visual setting is not a stunning one: graphics are just four colors in CGA mode and the sound consists only of a buzzing PC Speaker.
Pole Position is an absolute classic, a program that ruled in every game room in the eighties. And although PeCet conversion is controlled by the keyboard and not by the steering wheel, pedal and gear lever, it can deliver just as much excitement.
