The gameplay comes down to securing subsequent patches of our lawn in a way that will prevent brain-eating monsters from reaching their target. The sequel offers even greater variety of fields and plants, not to mention black humor, typical feat of the series.

Candy Crush Jelly Saga is based on the popular match-3 mechanics and, similarly to previous installments of the series, features no storyline, focusing entirely on gameplay. The objective of the game is to conquer more than a hundred available levels by creating sets of at least three candies of the same type out of many more shown on the screen. In contrast to most other match-3 games, the levels aren’t randomly generated – instead, each of them is a carefully-planned logical challenge with candies placed in specific places and featuring unique map shapes. The gameplay is more varied thanks to the boss fights, during which the player must complete additional objectives. A small city, Kisilova, observes a series of mysterious deaths, which seem to foreshadow the return of the plague. In order to prevent a widespread panic from ensuing, the Prince of Wittemberg sends a pair of investigators to the town, who are tasked with discovering the truth. The plot of the game is inspired by a real-life incident from 1725, when a deceased Serbian farmer named Petar Blagojevic was rumored to have become a vampire. The authors mixed real events with folk legends, creating an engaging story. When it comes to mechanics, Vampire Legends is a traditional adventure game intertwined by hidden object sections. During the game, we explore static locations, converse with encountered characters, gather items, and solve logic puzzles. Additionally, we need to make decisions that influence the plot, influencing the final outcome of the story.

The gameplay mechanics revolve around controlling the continuously running SpongeBob in an attempt to cover the longest distance possible on the procedurally generated map comprising three tracks filled with diverse obstacles and numerous collectibles. In order to achieve the best score, the player can evolve SpongeBob into his more powerful version or utilize a number of vehicles (e.g. Patrick’s burger car). Unlike most so-called endless runner games, the procedurally generated levels have an end – it is represented by a portal, which takes the player to another land, where they can continue the game. SpongeBob: Sponge on the Run delivers a pleasant 3D visuals, which follow the humoristic style featured in the animated TV series.

The action of Demon Hunter 2: A New Chapter takes place 20 years after the events of the original. When the foster father of the heroine dies while fighting a demonic opponent that tried to reenter our world, the protagonist becomes the last living member of the ancient Demon Hunter order and the only person that can face the enemy who is now stronger than ever. Mechanics-wise, the game doesn’t deviate from its predecessor’s or standard HOPA game solutions at all. The story, in the course of which we visit 31 varied locations, is enriched by numerous scenes with hidden objects and new mini-games that require great perceptiveness and the ability to think logically.

A casual detective game with hidden objects, based on the license of a popular police procedural TV series, NCIS. The game has a similar feel to CSI: Hidden Crimes, a title of the same genre released two years earlier. We are thrown into various investigations, led by the titular agents in many different locations. We visit crime scenes, interrogate the witnesses, cataloguing and analyzing the evidence and clues we find. NCIS: Hidden Crimes is built from typical genre elements, such as searching for hidden items or solving varied logic puzzles. However, the developers offer a wide range of challenges, introducing six different approaches to the investigation and nine types of minigames. The license of the series doesn’t limit itself to name only – the cases are handled by the characters known from the screen, such as agent Gibbs, or forensic specialist Abby.

A casual adventure game featuring hidden objects and developed as a result of the cooperation between a Hungarian studio Sunward Games and Artifex Mundi - a Polish publisher. The game focuses on the character of Pamela Cavendish, who has is given a chance to learn the truth behind a popular myth. Using Ariadne's Thread, the protagonist explores many diverse locations and overcomes the numerous obstacles she encounters. Her goal is to stop a mysterious religious group that has made efforts to resurrect the titular Minotaur. Finding the so-called Chosen One turns out to be the best solution, for this person is the only one capable of defeating the monster once and for all. In terms of the visuals, the game resembles the high standards Artifex Mundi had achieved with their previous titles. The mechanics also include patterns typical for HOPA games. Thus the player explores particular locations and gathers items required to solve the puzzles they stumble on. The experience is diversified with numerous, arcade-logic games and scenes featuring hidden objects.

A humorous farming simulation game by Polish studio Jet Toast. You play as the owner of a small farm, which you have to turn into a prosperous business. In order to achieve that, you need to plant crops and gather them, breed animals, and complete tasks for the citizens from a nearby town. Unlike the other mobile farming games, Blocky Farm allows you to use an interactive tractor, which can help you with e.g. gathering your crops. You can also play with your cat and dog, by e.g. throwing them sticks, driving them around in tiny cars, or dressing them up. There is also a free-to-play multiplayer mode featuring microtransactions. You can speed up the gameplay with diamonds, although the game was designed in a way allowing you to play without needing to buy them.
