A racing game aimed at fans of off-road vehicles. The production tries to realistically reflect the reality of the struggles of this type of vehicles on difficult routes, devoid of asphalt and full of hills.
Prepared by the British studio Gremlin Interactive, the title is a racing game in which the players can sit behind the wheel of powerful off-road cars and test their skills on demanding routes.
Mechanics
Hardcore 4X4 enables you to test six types of off-roads that vary in maximum speed, suspension hardness, and steering profile. Each of them can be raced on six tracks with different types of surface, from gravel, through mud and grass, to snow. The devs made it possible to compete in different weather conditions and at night, which further increases the level of difficulty.
Game modes
There are three modes waiting for the players. Enthusiasts of off-road races can take part in a single race, a time trial or a championship where the main prize is an additional vehicle. In the last module, the struggle takes place on each of the six routes, and the points collected in each round are added up to the final result.
Technical aspects
Hardcore 4X4 is a racing game, in which the devs tried to best recreate the behavior of off-road vehicles, including a specific driving model. During the game, the players are accompanied by rough, motivating rock music.
