Halo: Combat Evolved is a futuristic FPP/TPP shooter that was a launch title of the Xbox console and became Microsoft's first system seller. It was developed by Bungie Software, a studio previously known for the Myth series. The game tells the story of a conflict between humans and aliens that are bent on annihilating our kind.

Halo: Combat Evolved for PC and XBX is a futuristic action game that tells the story of a conflict between aliens and mankind.
The Plot
In Halo: Combat Evolved for PC and XBX we play as a member of an elite military unit that constantly fights with the dangerous aliens.
The game’s world is remarkably big. We will visit many various areas, like forests, swamps, meadows, and so on. There, we will take part in many exciting duels with aliens. It has to be mentioned that our opponents are controlled by an advanced A.I and are armed to the teeth.
Mechanics
We can use every environmental object in the game as a cover to increase our chances of survival. We can hide trees, rocks, etc. There are many available weapons that we can choose from, like lasers, automatic rifles, and harpoons. Each of them has their own characteristics. Additionally, we can use many flying, swimming, and ground-based vehicles.
Technical Aspects
Halo: Combat Evolved for PC and XBX uses an advanced game engine that allows the rendering of a highly detailed world. The game also has pretty good physics engine. We can observe the action from a third-person or first person perspective. We will find a couple of multiplayer modes present in Halo: Combat Evolved. In many of them we can create our own teams.
