20 Years of Halo and Xbox; Microsoft Announces New IP
Microsoft is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Xbox console and the Halo series. As part of the anniversary, the company is releasing special gadgets. It has also announced the creation of a new IP.

On January 3, 2001, the Xbox console was first presented to the world. A few months later it appeared in American stores. This means this year marks 20 years since its launch. It is also the anniversary of the release of the first instalment of the Halo series. This anniversary is an important event for Microsoft, which decided to celebrate it with a special series of gadgets.
The company has unveiled a collection of products released to celebrate 20 years of the consoles and the Halo series. The line includes T-shirts, bags, mugs and caps. All are marked with a stylized number 20 and either the Xbox logo or Master Chief's silhouette.
In addition, Microsoft has provided free wallpapers and cosmetic items that can be used to decorate the menu of our Xbox Series X/S. The devs also announced a birthday broadcast on Twitchwhich will begin at 11 AM PT.
The day before the start of the celebration there was also another important announcement. In an interview with GamesRadar Ben Decker, head of Xbox Services, revealed that Xbox Game Studios is working on a new game.
We have 23 studios across Xbox and Bethesda, working on Halo, Forza, Fallout, and new IP that we haven't even talked about yet that's gonna blow your mind. We can deliver all of that into Game Pass on day one."
For now, no information about the new IP has been revealed. However, according to some sources, it could be a fantasy project from IO Interactive. The game from the creators of Hitman would be a title exclusive to the Xbox Series X/S console. For now, however, these are just speculations.
