Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition Description
Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition is a remastered edition of the second installment in the legendary RPG series. It was developed by Overhaul Games and improves on graphics, as well as adds some improvements and enhancements in the gameplay itself.
Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition takes us to the fantasy world of Forgotten Realms where we assume the role of a son of a God of Murder, Bhaal. After the defeat of one of his numerous children, Sarevok, the protagonist and his party got kidnapped by Jon Irenicus, a mad mage with the intent of using the power within the Child of Bhaal for his own gain. We quickly get out of his hideout in Amn, but our step sister, Imoen, is not so lucky. We set out to rescue her which marks the beginning of a long and dangerous journey, taking us to the previously unknown parts of the Forgotten Realms and presents the opportunity of facing own horrifying heritage.
The game is a classical RPG with the gameplay based on famous Dungeons & Dragons, perfectly known to all pen ‘n’ paper gaming fans. In the game, we fight in real time (with the active pause system), develop the statistics of our six-member party and, first and foremost, perform hundreds of side quests prepared by the developers. The world of Baldur’s Gate II is even larger than the one of its predecessor, and the amount of various themes, the interactions between the characters, and the scope of the story are very impressive.
Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition does not change the basic rules of the gameplay, but adds completely new content to it, such as new quests, items, locations and characters developed by the people working on the original game. The graphics are also significantly enhanced.

BioWare studio and publisher Black Isle Studios are responsible for the first two installments of the series and their supplements; their release in Poland was handled by CD Projekt. Work on the third installment of the series, announced nineteen years after the release of "two," was entrusted to Belgium's Larian Studios, known for its warmly received RPGs in the series Divinity.

Decades Go By, And No One Has Done It Better Than Baldur's Gate 2
Modern RPGs are often grand and beautiful productions, yet in some ways, Baldur's Gate 2 remains the unquestioned king of the genre. The odds are against Baldur's Gate 3, but I wouldn't bet my entire paycheck on it.

RPGs Should be All-in Adventures, Not Immersive Estate Sims
No place like home, eh? They heard that saying in RPGs. Most of modern role-plays give you some form of roof over your head. The problem starts when these take a toil on gameplay.
