Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - Absolution Description
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Absolution is the third content pack for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, a shooter developed by Infinity Ward studio. The add-on is part of season pass and follows the tradition, introducing four maps for online battles and next episode of cooperative mini-campaign of Zombie mode.
Plot
Like before, mini-campaign of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare takes us on the set of horror movie made by mad director Willard Wyler (with voice and look of Paul Reubens). This time players land in Sonova Beach city from 50’s of 20th century, where the action of the movie Attack of The Radioactive thing! is set, and must face results of failed government experiment. But four heroes won't be on their own against hordes of zombies – they will get assistance from titular heroine of the movie Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, who is played by the original actress Cassandra Peterson.
Game mechanics
Like Sabotage and Continuum before, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare – Absolution doesn’t introduce major novelties in gameplay, except for new types of enemies and weapons in Zombie mode. In return, the expansion features four new maps for multiplayer battles. First of them, Bermuda, lets players fight in seaside slums, built around fragments of a ship. Permafrost takes participants to a frozen city, where fights in narrow streets dominate. The third one, Fore, includes miniature golf field that contrasts with the magnitude of walls, magical forests and the map itself. The last battlefield included in add-on is refreshed Ember from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, set nearby an old town castle.
