Call of Duty: Heroes Description
Call of Duty: Heroes, released on AND, PC and iOS, is a spin-off of the cult series of first-person shooters by Activision, done in the form of a social free-to-play strategy. The game was developed by Faceroll Games studio and its PC version is distributed through the Windows Store and requires a tablet or a computer with Windows 8.
Mechanics
The gameplay mechanics in Call of Duty: Heroes are modelled on the popular mobile Clash of Clans strategy. When we enter the game, we take control of a small post and our task is to transform it into a powerful military base. As you can easily guess, an integral part of the gameplay is to protect the base against opponents attacking it from different sides. To achieve this, it is necessary to build solid defensive structures and to train a strong army capable of repelling the constant attacks.
We have access to over 30 types of buildings, as well as several special units and gadgets known to all fans of the Call of Duty series. According to the subtitle of the game, the key role in the game is played by heroes known from the fully-fledged versions of the series, such as Captain Price, Soap MacTavish or Mike Harper. Each of them has its own path of development and special types of attacks, which we improve as we gain experience and advance to the next levels.
Game modes
The PC version of the game is distributed in a free-to-play model and is subject to its typical limitations, such as the time needed to build a given structure. All of them can, of course, be avoided using the microtransactions system. Also, there is a strong emphasis on social options - forming alliances with friends makes it easy to face even the most difficult challenges. In addition to the standard single-player campaign, the creators also provided a special survival mode and the ability to fight PvP duels with live opponents.
