Plot

In the game, we assume the role of a knight in service of a powerful sect, Avadon, which is seated in the eponymous Black Fortress. The main task is to protect the Alliance formed by five grand nations. To do so, we become a representative of one of four available classes: blade master (a counterpart of a classical warrior), sorceress, shaman, or the so-called shadow walker, which is rogue in other RPGs. During the adventure, the protagonist is joined by many different NPCs. As a result, we traverse the world in a 3-member party.
