In Yo-Kai Watch the player assumes the role of a young boy who receives a magic watch from a mysterious creature. The watch allows him to see the title yokai, sympathetic ghosts that live in the world. The protagonist is tasked with helping various people, but other, less friendly yokai are trying to prevent him from doing that. Whenever he encounters one of them, he must fight with the ghost. If he wins, he can befriend the creature and use his special abilities later in the game. The game utilizes the special features of 3DS console. While exploring the world and fighting many actions are performed by drawing specific gestures on the touch screen.

The Alliance Alive takes place in a fantasy world that was invaded by an alien civilization called Asmodians centuries ago. A resistance movement, known as the Night Crows, is trying to defeat the Asmodians. During the game the player controls nine characters. Each of them represents different values, but their paths cross with each other, leading to new story threads and intriguing plot twists. The gameplay is typical for the genre. During the game the player is traveling through a vast world, completing various contracts and participating in turn-based battles in which the key to success lies in using individual skills of various characters. Their combat potential can be increased by joining guilds, obtaining more powerful equipment and using a specific skill frequently.

This state, however, was tainted by the sinister witch Hilda, whose ominous song gradually destroys the existing reality. Main protagonist of the game, knight Alto, is given the task of stopping her. In order to confront his opponent, the hero must recruit several other witches his team, all of them with their own combat songs. Gameplay is divided into two main segments: the world exploration is presented in a classic isometric perspective; when we encounter an enemy however, camera switches to a 3D view and tactical turn-based combat begins. Visually, Stella Glow is designed in a typical manga style, featuring super-deformed character models.

Another game developed by Ganbarion and set in the One Piece manga universe. This time around, the main protagonist – Monkey D. Luffy – and his friends get to the Forgotten Island, ruled by an extremely ambitious pirate, who goes by the name Red. Our protagonists are left with no other choice but to set up a base in Trans Town and embark on a quest to defeat Red and his henchmen. The gameplay mechanics resemble those known from the Monster Hunter series: players get to control on of nine different characters, each featuring unique skills and combat system. Players get to observe from the third-person perspective how their protagonists traverse numerous locations, fight encountered foes, as well as visit and expand the aforementioned town by erecting new structures (like shops and museums). In Trans Town, one can purchase new pieces of gear, accept new assignments and talk to various NPCs. One Piece: Unlimited World Red features both single and multiplayer modes – the latter one allows up to 4 players to join their forces in hunting frightful creatures and defeating dangerous pirates.

It is the second installment in a jRPG series - Project X Zone, published in 2012, in which players lead a team of characters from several popular franchises created by SEGA, Capcom, and Namco Bandai, including Resident Evil, Tekken, Megaman X, Devil May Cry, and Sakura Wars. The story features a fictional world combining token locations and buildings from the aforementioned games. Furthermore, players have a few hundreds unique characters at their disposal, ready to be added to the team. The gameplay is divided into two segments – the first one is presented in an isometric view and involves world exploration aimed at searching for suitable items and characters, it employs a turn-based system and each move on the world map requires a particular number of action points. When facing an opponent, however, the player is taken to a battlefield to control two characters and summon a third one to perform a special attack.

The new game was created by the authors of the previous game, the Inti Creates studio, mostly known for developing the Mega Man Zero miniseries. In Azure Striker Gunvolt 2 the player can experience the further adventures of Gunvolt and the characters known from the prequel, facing the corporation ruling the future world. The gameplay mechanics are similar as in the previous entry in the series, and the game focuses on traveling through levels and defeating numerous enemies. During the battles, the player can use both firearms and special powers of the protagonists. Battles against powerful bosses are most challenging because they also have many special abilities. The key to defeating them is finding a good tactic.

In the game the player controls the yokai creatures known very well by the fans of the series. The creatures are invisible for most of humans and they are used for building player’s own empire. The tasks which player will complete include recruiting armies, training the units, fighting in a turn-based system and conquering new territories. The gameplay mechanics are similar as in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, except that the typical historic themes are swapped with a fantasy world filled with extraordinary creatures. Yo-Kai Watch: Three Kingdoms, similarly as its jRPG predecessors, utilizes the unique features of 3DS handhelds, allowing controlling the units in unordinary ways.

Players can choose from many varied game modes, starting from story campaign, through special challenges, and ending on skirmishes, 1 on 1 or in teams. There's more than a hundred warriors from anime series and movies, including the most iconic ones like Goku, Vegeta or Cell and minor characters like Guldo, Videl or Nappa. Most of them have unique, alternate forms – such as Super Saiyan, which let them execute stronger attacks, performing more effective combos and finishers. A distinct feature of Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden is the tactical advantage that players can get by using the shape and structure of the arenas. All of this is presented in high-quality visuals, which take a lot after the legendary anime series.

The biggest highlight of Dragon Ball: Fusions is the titular fusion of several characters into one powerful fighter, with the game introducing a gigantic number of less or more probable fusions.
