A turn-based fantasy strategy game developed by studio Level 5. The game combines the world of the Yo-Kai Watch series with the gameplay of popular series Romance of the Three Kingdoms. In the game the player controls the yokai creatures known very well by the fans of the series. The creatures are invisible for most of humans and they are used for building player’s own empire.
Yo-kai Sangokushi Description
Yo-Kai Watch: Three Kingdoms is a strategy game combining the world designed for Yo-Kai Watch brand and the formula from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms series. Level-5 studio cooperating with Koei Temco is responsible for spin-off production on Nintendo 3DS.
In the game we play the so-called yokai - small creatures invisible to most people and with their help we build our own empire. We recruit an army, conquer new levels, occupy new territories and fight battles in turn-based system. The game in its formula resembles previous titles Romance of the Three Kingdoms, only that instead of a typically historical setting we live in a world full of fantastic creatures.
The game was designed with the capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS console in mind - this is reflected not only in the way of controlling and issuing commands to our branches, but also in a slightly simplified graphic design.
