A sandbox platform game by indie studio Re-Logic, sometimes called the 2D version of the popular Minecraft. There is no set goal; your task is basically to shape the randomly-generated world around you. At first you only have a few basic tools, which allow you to dig and find resources, chop wood, and create simple structures. As the game progresses, due to the extensive crafting system, you discover better tools, allowing you to create advanced materials and to fight monsters.

An interesting 2D adventure game with elements of psychological horror. The game forces the players to answer the question about the limits and the price of humanity. The game was created by an independent Finnish developer Jesse Makkonen.

Cult County is a survival horror adventure game in which events are shown from the first person perspective (FPP). The story takes place in a desert town in Texas, where the protagonist finds himself in search of a sister. He finds an atmosphere of fear and distrust caused by sinister cultists, and soon comes to fight for survival. The game combines a dramatic struggle with exploratory elements in locations with a partially open structure.

A classic, two-dimensional platformer considered a representative of the metroidvania genre, developed by Lunar Ray Games that was founded by a former employee of Microsoft and Bungie Software. The story of Timespinner is set in the fantasy universe of Ernah, created by the developer in the days of his youth. During the game we play the part a young girl named Lunaris, whose village was destroyed by invaders from another planet.

An action game with platform game features. The players assume the role of Zangestu – a demon hunter who travels to a castle occupied by a powerful fallen angel. During the game, the players are exploring grim locations and fighting enemies. The game distinguishes itself from other games with the presence of four playable characters.

RPG 23 July 2015

A collection of two remastered old-school role-playing games: Dragon Fantasy Book I and Book II. The titles included in the Dragon Fantasy: The Volumes of Westeria edition take the player to the eponymous Westeria continent, where evil spreads its influence and two nations are warring for domination. The story is split into chapters, each featuring a different protagonist – actions of these heroes have significant impact on this world’s situation.

Dungeon crawler, in which we travel through the dark dungeons of the fortress to finally defeat the evil sorcerer Watrys threatening the world. The title refers to the classics of the genre, offering demanding gameplay and a dense atmosphere.

An old-school open-world action game and a sequel to Retro City Rampage developed by Vblank Entertainment. The action of Shakedown Hawaii takes place 30 years after the events presented in its predecessor. The protagonist has grown really old and got himself a large belly. Dramatic events forced him to take up arms once again and to rebuild his crime empire.

A typical example of a metroidvania game. It was developed by an independent American studio Renegate Kid. The player assumes the role of a lone astronaut who is tasked with exploring the surface of four dangerous planets. Although the player can visit each planet from the beginning of the game (by using a spaceship), it is quickly revealed that, in order to reach hardly accessible places, they must first obtain various upgrades.

Strategy canceled

C-Wars is an unusual real-time strategy in which we have to fight off the zombie invasion by commanding the lunar colony's forces of order. Battles are played on squared boards, the colors of which determine which units we can call them.

An arcade puzzle game, the action of which takes place inside a computer processor. During the game, we move through a two-dimensional grid of intersecting lines, fighting with guards and traps set by hostile CPUs.

The second part of the series of arcade and music games with graphics from the era of eight-bit computers. Once again we play the role of CommanderVideo consisting of several pixels and we have to destroy the squares coming from all directions to the rhythm of the electronic background.

The title is a debut of the independent studio Yacht Club Games, hiring, among others, former employees of the experienced Way Forward studio. In the production, we impersonate a titular knight who, with the help of a legendary shovel-like weapon, fights the mysterious members of The Order of No Quarter.

An action-platform game developed by independent Swedish studio Image & Form. The game takes place in an unusual universe that combines the traits of steampunk and Wild West settings. Once human civilization had fallen and the Homo sapiens was reduced to cave-dwelling troglodytes, weird creatures that are mostly robots became the new dominant species. One of them is the main protagonist of the game, Rusty.

An original 2D platformer with adventure elements, developed by Gory Detail, an independent studio established by Christopher Seavor, formerly an employee of Rare. The main protagonist is a forgotten and somewhat broken toy resembling a dog that has a wheel instead of paws. The player’s task is to take care of it, which is done in a rather unusual way because we do not have direct control over the toy, but we can influence its behavior by manipulating the environment.

A platform game that continues the story of the gunslinger named Clive. After saving the daughter of Mayor Johnson, the protagonist returns to his hometown, which in the meantime was attacked by bandits. Without thinking too much, Clive begins chasing the leader of the villains, as capturing him is the only way to save his home. The chase takes place across half of the world, enabling the Swedish studio Hörberg Productions to make campaign levels more varied.

Originating from mobile devices, this game combines the elements of tactical turn-based strategy and team RPG, equipped with an unusual control system, modelled on the Angry Birds series. During the game, we take control of a team of friendly squids, which are fighting with a mysterious substance that turns the inhabitants of the depths into monsters.

Mighty No. 9 is an arcade platformer developed in 2.5D by the experienced Japanese developer Comcept; the title draws inspiration from the renowned Mega Man series. The storyline is focused on the character of mighty Beck, the only robot who resisted an extremely dangerous virus, which arouses aggression among mechanical beings. It is the task of our protagonist to eliminate the danger and return the order to the world of the robots. The gameplay mechanics in Mighty No.

Retro City Rampage: DX is a new and improved version of Retro City Rampage, released for the first time in 2012. The title is a parody of such series as Grand Theft Auto. Players move on until 1980 and take on the role of a mentally unbalanced criminal from Theftropolis. The game is stylized on production from the era of 8-bit consoles and contains many references to pop culture.

Minimalistic logic-arcade game, developed by the Mobigame studio team. In the game we play an ordinary cubic dice, which we have to lead through more than 60 levels, filled with obstacles and logical puzzles.

Oldskulowa action game with elements of platform production, in which we play as a cowboy, wandering through the Wild West in search of the kidnapped daughter of the mayor Johnson. The production was created by a one-man studio Horberg Productions.
