The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup is a 2D platform game with adventure elements, created by independent studio Gory Detail Limited, founded by Chris Seavor, creator of Conker series. We play as a dog toy and try to survive in a dangerous and dark world.

Story

The main protagonist of the story is a worn-out mechanical toy. This dog-like character (with wheels instead of paws) travels through the dark corners of the world. Does the dog think it is a toy? Or maybe the toy is a dog? These questions will be answered by the players.

Mechanics

The game combines 2D platformer elements with an adventure game. Its unusual mechanics distinguish The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup from other similar games. In The Unlikely Legend of Rusty Pup, the player does not have full control over the character. Instead, it has an impact on its surroundings - they can only try to "take care" of the toy-dog. We control the cursor which allows us to influence the game environment, creating passages, removing obstacles, etc.
