Bound is the third project developed by Plastic - a Polish team popular for a dark adventure game Datura and an artistic logic game Linger in Shadows. Similar to these titles, Bound was created exclusively for PlayStation 4 and it was developed in cooperation with Sony Santa Monica (the God of War series).

Compared to the original production, this title features brand new graphics along with a fresh soundtrack. Even though there are a few minor improvements in mechanics, the backbone of the game stays the same. Once again, you play as a bandicoot named Crash, whose objective is to stop doctor Neo Cortex from raising an army of obedient, humanoid animals.

The gameplay, presented from the first-person perspective, focuses on exploring ancient ruins and cities — the player’s task is to reach an exit or a portal that takes us to the next location. We traverse increasingly complex levels on foot; however, the protagonist has a grappling hook at his disposal which allows him to jump between platforms that float in the air.
