Go to an adventure cabinet

Head to the adventure cabinet, where you can start side mission Hostage Rescue: Save a nerd (for details check the corresponding chapter in this guide).

Go to the store and purchase suppressor

Once you complete the side mission, go to the shop cabinet. Select Weapons category and then A.J.M. 9 attachments. Now buy the suppressor (it will be equipped automatically).

Reach the dam

Head towards current objective marked on the map (use the car to speed up the travel). Your mission is to blow up the dam.

Grab Darling's package

Head to the zipline shown on the screen, hooked up to the pillar on the left side of the dam. Slide it down and then repeat the same maneuver with the next zipline.

Go to the lighted cave. Inside you'll find ammo and a crate with C4000 charges among other things.

Plant C4000 charges at indicated locations

You have to plant charges at given points on the dam. Two of them can be found at the dam base and the third one is located on the top. Depending on your preference you can launch a direct attack on soldiers guarding the dam or eliminate them silently (the dam is guarded by snipers and robo dogs among others).

If you prefer silent option, use the cybereye to monitor enemies and jump into water. On the left side of the dam (looking from the front), you can notice the building with the alarm switch. You can get there by surfacing on its left side and climbing the rocks. After that, use the side door to get inside. Another option is to climb to the platform on the right side of the mentioned building and wait there for enemy soldiers. Use the bow if you have it or blade takedowns to get rid of them silently.

Disable the alarm and carefully leave the building, watching out for other enemies. Remember about robo dogs, which can smell you - use the dice to distract them and kill them by surprise. Plant the first charge on the silo, on the left side of the dam. Now head towards rest of soldiers, eliminating them silently (there is one more robo dog in the area).

After killing them, plant the next charge on the dam wall, at the marked point.

Return to place where you've planted the first charge and locate stairs leading inside the dam. Replenish your ammo if needed.

Start climbing up the stairs. When you reach another stairs, you'll be warned about new type of enemy - heavy with a flamethrower. Since you probably can't take down such enemies with your blade yet, you have to use stronger weapons. Try to shoot a fuel tank on his back - the explosion should do the trick (you can also get back behind the corner and attack him with the knife - 3-4 hits should kill him).

Go up the stairs and crouch near the exit to the balcony - two enemy soldiers should appear there. Kill them with the bow or distract using the dice and eliminate with the blade. Now it is time to get rid of snipers. The best way to eliminate them is to distract and take them down when they look at other direction.

After clearing the balcony, take one of ladders leading up and use it. Prepare for the fight with two more enemies (including Molotox unit). After the fight plant the third charge on the dam wall.

Move out of the blast radius

Head to the direction shown on the map. Walk over large pipes and climb up the rocks.

Detonate the charges

When you get to the safe place, detonate the charges. Unfortunately they are not good enough to blow up the dam. Use the zipline to get back to the dam.

Three soldiers will come running from the dam. If you manage this, you can surprise them by attacking from the zipline, so at least two of them can be killed automatically. Eliminate rest of them and get inside the dam.

At the stairs you'll get warm welcome from another lover of flamethrowers. Since alarms on the dam are activated, you do not have to bother with silent elimination and kill him with standard weapon. Replenish ammo and explosives and keep going, killing another soldier along your way. In the next room you can destroy the alarm switch.

Meet the engineer

At the top of the stairs you'll find a shop cabinet where you can replenish your ammo and a heavy machine gun.

Go out and turn left. Use the ladder to get inside the building on the top of the dam (you can destroy another alarm switch here). The road ahead is full of enemy soldiers and also helicopters will appear after a while. You can eliminate them on your own using the machine gun or follow the game suggestions and lure the dragon by throwing him cyberhearts.

Get to the end of the road and locate stairs leading down. You'll see there the door, behind which you can find the engineer you're looking for.

Follow the engineer

Follow the engineer inside the complex.

Clear area of all enemies

Again, depending on your preferences, you can attack enemies frontally or eliminate them silently. If you choose the second option, go to the end of the corridor and climb up the stairs to the upper floor. Locate the catwalk under the ceiling and climb it. First of all, eliminate the single Molotox unit.

On the other side of the room you'll find an alarm switch. Move there, eliminating soldiers along your way (jump down on them to take them down with the blade). Once you disable the alarm you can kill the rest of opponents with standard weapons.

Wait until the scientist open the door and follow him. You'll get to another area full of enemies with heavy soldier with flamethrower among them. Eliminate the nearest soldier the bow or distract him with a dice to execute him.

Move to the passage on the left and go down the stairs, watching out for enemy soldiers. There is an alarm switch at the bottom. Use it and kill the rest of opponents. Go back upstairs and run after the engineer through the newly opened door. Engineer will open yet another door - go outside, heading towards the large generator in the center of the lake.

Release core's 3 underwater safety locks

Your task is to remove underwater safety locks. Theirs locations are shown on the minimap. Watch out for cybersharks while under the water, because they can quickly kill you.

Meet the engineer

Go to the room with the engineer and replenish your supplies. Prepare to repel the enemy attack, while engineer tries to lower reactor shields.

Protect engineer while he works

You'll be attacked both by foot soldiers (with heavy among them) and boats with stationary guns. Return to the building with working engineer when you need to replenish ammo or heal yourself.

Punch the reactor

When you get rid of enemies and engineer lowers reactor's shields, you'll have to overcharge it manually. Move to the place shown by the marker and hold the proper key/button.
